The award was presented at the MCC 2009 Business Awards Breakfast, an event that celebrates the achievements of New York City entrepreneurs who have established themselves as leaders in their respective industries. Back to Top Summer Tree Museum Along The Grand Concourse Opens Bronx, NY-Along a four-and-a-half-mile stretch of the Grand Concourse-the historic boulevard connecting Manhattan to the parks of the north Bronx-a most unusual “museum without walls” is currently open and remains on view 24 hours a day, seven days a week until October 12, 2009 as part of the centennial celebration of the “Park Avenue of the working class.” Read more... The program provides on-the-job career training and education to a select group of New Yorkers who wish to build careers in the fields of urban forestry management, ecological restoration and urban landscaping.
