Thank you for your interest in digging in with MillionTreesNYC! Due to overwhelming response, we have closed registration for The American Express “Make a Difference” Community Tree Planting Day. While we will miss you on May 16th, we hope that you will join us at our community volunteer tree planting days this fall. Visit milliontreesnyc.org this summer for a schedule of fall volunteer events.

In the meantime, MillionTreesNYC needs all of the volunteers it can get to help care for the trees that were planted this spring. Under the banner of the MillionTreesNYC Stewardship Corps, New Yorkers can attend free tree stewardship workshops that will provide training in tree care and maintenance. So reconnect with your family, neighbors and nature -- and help us make New York City an even better place to live! Visit milliontreesnyc.org in June for the unveiling of our citywide Stewardship Corps or call Ellen Arnstein at 212.360.3435 for current workshop descriptions and dates.

And let us know if your neighborhood needs more trees. We are always looking for new places to plant!
