MillionTreesNYC needs the help of community stakeholders, businesses, advocacy groups, researchers, volunteers, and non-profit organizations to accomplish ambitious citywide tree planting and care goals.
Partners
Everyone is digging in to make MillionTreesNYC a success!
In addition to individual New Yorkers, MillionTreesNYC is mobilizing support from all corners of the City to help plant a million trees by 2017. With lead support from the NYC Parks Department and the New York Restoration Project, MillionTreesNYC will stimulate tree-planting, stewardship, education, community outreach, and public awareness efforts through a coalition of partners and sponsors. These groups include community-based and non-profit organizations throughout NYC, government agencies, statewide and national organizations, and corporate sponsors.
MillionTreesNYC volunteer plantings and tree care events are, in part, powered by NYC Service. NYC Service helps more New Yorkers connect to service opportunities more easily, while targeting volunteers to address the City's greatest needs.
